Shipping Policy

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TIME
All orders of human hair bundles, human hair wigs, ready to ship custom made wig and custom braided and cornrow wig collections as well as other accessories takes business 2-7 days delivery time immediately payment is made excluding weekends and holidays.
NATIONAL DELIVERY TIME
All orders of human hair bundles, human hair wigs, ready to ship custom made wig and custom braided and cornrow wig collections as well as other accessories takes 2-3 business days delivery time immediately payment is made excluding weekends and holidays
GENERAL PROCESSING TIME
All orders for human hair bundles, human hair wigs, ready to ship custom made wig collections will take 1 day handling time excluding weekends and holidays.
The processing time for custom made braided and cornrow wig collection takes 2-3 weeks for standard order and 1 week processing time for express for all styles.
One million braids, micro braids, macro braids, Nano braids and loc braids which will require additional 1 week processing time, this is to ensure customer satisfaction.
Please note that additional processing fee will apply for express requests.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
Shipping for orders made within Nigeria will take 1 day to be processed for items in stock and available to be shipped and will be dispatched immediately 24 hours after payment is confirmed and takes 2-3 days for orders to be delivered. Express delivery is available at checkout and additional shipping fees will apply. All custom made braided wigs and conrow will need additional processing time as stated above.

We ship Mondays through Fridays, excluding weekends and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express. You will receive a confirmation email with the tracking information once your order ships. “Weekends and Holidays are not counted as our business working days”
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Shipping for all international orders including orders from the USA, Europe and Canada takes 2-7 working days to get delivered after its has been dispatched. Estimated shipping date would be communicated via email after your order has been placed. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE SHIPPING TIME SELECTED INDICATES THE TIME FRAME IN WHICH YOUR UNIT WILL BE SHIPPED AND THIS TIME FRAME IS NOT INCLUSIVE OF PROCESSING TIME.

We are in partnership with FedEx, DHL and USPS, we therefore deliver worldwide, please note that shipping rates differ per country.

A confirmation email would be sent to you once the parcel is dispatched and tracking information would be sent to you 24hrs after your shipment has dispatched. Please do not submit P.O boxes as your delivery address as the courier companies do not deliver to P.O boxes. We would also require all parcels to be signed as prove of delivery and would not leave your package at the door if nobody is available to sign. If your order has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, kindly track your items using the tracking number and also send us an email to follow up with the courier company.

Express delivery is available at checkout and additional shipping fees will apply. All custom made braided wigs and conrow will need additional processing time as stated above.

MULTIPLE ORDERS:
Orders including more than one item may be shipped out separately and arrive on different days. We will inform you of the tracking number(s) by email or other means of contact that you have provided respectively. (Except you email us on time to have them shipped together).

When we are offering a FREE SHIPPING SALE, each order is only eligible for one free shipping. In cases where orders with multiple items requires separate shipping or if you want them shipped separately, the customer would be liable to pay for the second shipping fee.
SHIPPING DELAYS
Please note that we do not make adjustments to our processing time as our core goal is to custom make beautiful and clean wigs that would exceed your expectations. If you have a specific time frame you want to receive your order, we advise you on time to avoid quality control, missing wigs, shipping delays to give room for unanticipated delays. This being said, because all units are custom made, any additional changes and corrections to the unit will affect the delivery time.

We are not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, bad weather conditions that may affect the courier company. We entrust our courier service for on-time delivery and if by any chance, your package is delayed, there will be no reimbursement of shipping costs however we are available to help track shipment and follow up with courier company.

Returns & Cancellations

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

We strive to provide customers of all backgrounds and ethnicity, standard braided handmade wigs of high quality, and if there is any problem concerning our quality, we will gladly exchange the item with matching same valued item. If the return items qualify for exchange after a thorough inspection. Please ship the item back as it was initially packed and sent in an unused state within 72 hours of receipt.

  • You must contact us before sending your return, as the return address may be different from the address your order was originally shipped from. Any return made without contacting us before returning is not guaranteed.
  • All items must be in new condition, items cannot be tried on and cannot be worn, with all original packaging.
  • All items must be sent back within 72 hours of receipt after confirmation from us.
  • No refund or exchange on wigs that do not meet these criteria. You can request for your item sent back to you and the reshipping fees will be charged.
  • All customers are responsible for their return shipping costs. We recommend that you send your return with a tracking number because Vintage Hairs will not be responsible for lost returns or damaged returned wigs.

Note: Please indicate “RETURN, NO DUTIES” on the package, otherwise the package may be returned to you.

  • For our customers who got a wrong order, we will be responsible for the shipment fee you incurred in returning the wig to us if after examining your case file, we are at fault for sending you a wrong order. We must receive and inspect the order by matching it with all initial visual recordings of how the wig was before we sent it to you and in what state we received it for confirmation before an exchange or refund can be made.
  • Promotional items of the product being returned must also be sent back, otherwise retail value will be charged.
EXCHANGE POLICY

During sales:

  • if you would like to change your order details and style, that can only be done within 24 hours of placing the order. Anything after that time is final. Items can be changed before production. We will change for you according to your request within 24 hours after placing your order.
  • Items can not be changed after production. If you choose to cancel, we will cancel and refund you according to our cancellation policy. Please refer to our cancellation policy below.

After sales: 

we offer change, but we only accept to change based on wrong order mistake from us for a change or a refund. We have size chart, color chart and other product details on our website, we hope that customers look through our page carefully before you place an order. Sorry for those who chose the wrong color or the wrong size. Please contact us before you place your order via our email vintagehairs@yahoo.com

NOTE! In order to avoid fraud, further documentation or forms of identification may be requested to process your order if your billing address differs from your shipping address, if you are unable to provide a genuine means of identification, we reserve the right to cancel your order.


CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that ordering a wig for your appearance is an important undertaking. However, it is important to note that our wigs are handmade customize for you specially. We get charged for processing your payments on our website by the payment providers you have selected which are non-refundable fees. Also, we incur production Labor Costs and Material Costs as soon as production begins.

The good news is that after placing your order, there is still time to change your mind. Please refer to our cancellation and return policies below for details.

  • Cancellation fees on orders placed within 24 hours are 15% of the total amount paid. “Be sure you can abide by our policies before placing an order”
  • Cancellation fees on orders placed after 24 hours are 50% of the total amount paid. “Be sure you can abide by our policies before placing an order”
  • Once the item has been delivered, the order can’t be canceled.
  • If you have special circumstances need to cancel the order, please email us on time. We will calculate the cancellation time according to the time the email was received.
  • All refunds will be made to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected, and confirmed that the returned wig has not been used and opened.

NOTE! all exchanges and refunds may be accepted only subject to the Return Refund & Exchange Policy listed above.

In a case where any of the conditions above are not met,  Vintage Hairs reserves the right to refuse an exchange or a refund.

Payments, Billings & Account Information

Currencies you accept:
All Checkout prices are in USD, EURO, CAD, NAIRA, and POUNDS. We have a currency converter to help convert the price to the currency of your choice.

  • If inaccurate or incomplete addresses are provided eg. wrong apartment number, zip code, state, county etc. If there are unverified details with your order, it may delay processing. It is extremely important that the information you give us is most accurate and complete. If there is a need for an address correction after your shipment has been dispatched, there will be an additional fee for the courier company to charge us to make any correction. If a parcel is returned due to a bad address you will be responsible for additional shipping charges.
  • We encourage all customers to thoroughly review their shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided. If your package was returned or abandoned due to an incorrect shipping address or not available to receive shipment and would like a refund, you will be eligible for a refund. If you require us to ship your purchase again, YOU WILL PAY ADDITIONAL/NEW SHIPPING FEE.
  • When checking out with PayPal, make sure an up to date verified PayPal address is used.
  • You MUST provide a valid means of identification for delivery of parcels where billing and shipping address are differed else we strictly advise that YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS MUST BE THE SAME AS YOUR BILLING ADDRESS.
  • All our deliveries require you signing before delivery as proof of delivery incase of any dispute. Once you miss the deliveries, items will be sent back to the courier company and you will have to contact them for a new delivery time. We are not responsible for theft of your package if you instruct the courier company to leave your parcel in front of your door.
  • In rare occasions where a customer claims parcels have been stolen from their delivered location after you authorized the courier company to drop off in you desired location, we suggest you contact the local authorities as Vintage Hairs will not be responsible for such issues and therefore issue no refund. This is why our policy says the courier company MUST have recipients sign off during delivery as proof of delivery incase of any dispute
  • For items lost in transit and not yet delivered, please contact the courier company to lodge your complaint and also email us immediately to enable us to help contact the courier company on your behalf.
  • For items marked as “Undeliverable as addressed “or “Wrong Address provided” or “Several failed attempts for delivery”, the client will be charged an additional shipping fee in order to re-ship the package.
    We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.

Customs and import duties & fees may be applied to international orders when the shipment reaches its final destination. The recipient is responsible for such charges and this  varies from country to country. It is advised to first find out about such fees with your local custom office for international purchase before ordering. Contact your local customs office for details. Deliveries would need to be signed for except on holidays. Once you miss the postal service for deliveries, items will be sent back to your local postal for collection. Please, contact them.

Shipping laws are different in each country. Customer’s are responsibility to check with their countries customs office to verify whether his/her country permits the shipment of purchased products. Vintage Hairs is NOT responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arises from improper international shipping practices

Note! Our Courier Companies require recipient’s signature, you will have to make yourself readily available to sign for your package or change delivery method from the with the courier company when they contact you via text or email.

Once the courier company picks your order from our office, the risk of loss is passed onto the courier company and customer. We therefore advise customers to consider paying for insurance during checkout so the courier company can refund you your money incase of theft, missing items or unforeseen circumstances. Vintage Hairs is NOT liable for any parcel  that does not get delivered to the customer. If requested, we would contact the courier service and assist the customer in locating the package.
